Location: Beaverton, OR
Pay: $24–$26/hour
Hours: 20–40 per week

Schedule: After-School, Evenings & Weekends
About the Role
Join our family-owned swim school in Beaverton and help children build life-saving water skills in a calm, positive environment. As a Lead Swim Instructor, you'll teach small, private lessons (max 2 students), support fellow instructors, and play an important leadership role in our growing school.

Palekana Swim LLC specializes in high-quality, private swim lessons for children of all ages. With a maximum of two students per class, our instructors provide focused, personalized instruction that helps students progress quickly and confidently.

Responsibilities
Teach private swim lessons (maximum 2 students per class)
Support and supervise other instructors
Assist with scheduling and parent communication
Maintain a clean and safe pool environment
Perform water quality testing (per OHA guidelines)
Promote a positive, inclusive learning experience for all students
Requirements
CPR/First Aid certification (required)
WSI or equivalent swim instructor certification (required)
Experience teaching babies, toddlers, and neurodivergent students
4 years of swim instruction preferred
Reliable, patient, and punctual
Strong communication and leadership skills
Must pass a background check
